RESEARCH ON CLINICAL AND LABORATORY CHARACTERISTICS IN PATIENTS POST-INFECTED WITH SARS-COV-2 WHO EXAMINATED AT TAM DUC CLINICS

Abstract
Background and goals: COVID-19 which is a high transmitted acute infectious disease, causing by SARS-COV-2 and posing challenges in treatment and prevention. Most patients will recover after about 1 week, however, in some cases after recovery, there are still lesions or dysfunction in organs. This study was conducted to describe the distribution of clinical and laboratory characteristics after SARS-COV-2 infection among patients attending local polyclinics.
Methods: A total of 194 SARS-COV-2 -experienced patients who visited Tam Duc clinics were enrolled in the study. All patients were interviewed for demographical characteristics, vaccination history, status of covid infection, coexisting conditions and post-infection status and get the clinical examination and laboratory testings.
Results: There were 93.78% post- infected patients visiting the clinic having with clinical manifestations, in which the most common symptom was headache 45.36%. For laboratory characteristics, 5/194 had thrombocytopenia. There was a relationship between doses of vaccine, duration of illness and post-COVID health status.
