Abstract

Objective: Determine the percentage of Gram-positive bacteria strains; The rate of antibiotic resistance of the above bacteria in NinhThuan Provincial Hospital.

Subjects, materials and methods: Analytical cross-sectional description. Take 147 cultures with Gram-positive bacteria strains isolated at NinhThuan Provincial Hospital from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021.

Results and conclusions: In the isolated pathogenic bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus has 87 strains, accounting for the highest percentage (59.2%). Staphylococcus aureus was resistant to all common antibiotics but was still sensitive to vancomycin. Streptococcus pneumonia is highly resistant to beta-lactams and macrolides; sensitive to cephalosporins 3, aminosides, quinolones and vancomycin. Enterococcus spp. high resistance to Tetracycline, Levofloxacin. Staphylococcus coagulase negative is completely resistant to cefoxitin.
