Abstract

Melioidosis is an infection caused by gram-negative bacillus Burkholderia pseudomallei. It is being increasingly reported in around the world. Almost every organ can be infected, but the most infected organ is the lung, followed by the skin and subcutaneous tissues, spleen, liver, kidneys, prostate. Neuromelioidosis is a rare manifestation of Melioidosis. In this article, we report a patient case who was diagnosed Melioidosis brain abscess with clinical features and imaging characteristics by MR image.
