Abstract

Acute respiratory tract inflammatory disease (Covid-19) caused by SARS-COV-2, which started in the Chinese Wuhan since December 2019, has spread from person to person at a rapid rate. So far, COVID-19 has become a pandemic with hundreds of millions of people infected, millions of deaths. The incubation period is about 14 days. Patients with symptoms of acute respiratory infections: fever, cough, shortness of breath, severe pneumonia, can cause acute respiratory failure and risk of death, especially in people with chronic, background disease. Some people infected with the SARS-COV-2 virus may have mild clinical symptoms with unknown symptoms, making it difficult to detect. In Vietnam, cases of infection have been recorded from epidemic zones and cases of transmission in Vietnam have been recorded. The disease does not yet have a specific treatment, vaccines are in the development stage, and some countries have approved and vaccinated in the community. However, in Vietnam as well as in other countries around the world, it will take a longer time to have a vaccination for immunization to create basic immunity in the community. Therefore, preventive measures are of utmost importance, and community-based interventions such as school closures, event cancellations, social stretching and teleworking can be planned. Helps slow the spread of COVID-19.
