THE WORKING MOTIVATION OF NURSING CARE OF COVID-19 AND SOME RELATED FACTORS AT DUC GIANG GENERAL HOSPITAL IN 2022

Abstract

Objectives: To describe the working motivation of nurses taking care of COVID-19 patients and some related factors at Duc Giang General Hospital in 2022.


Subjects and methods: Cross-sectional description, over 93 nurses directly taking care of COVID-19 patients, conducted from January to March 2022 at Duc Giang General Hospital.


Results: The percentage of nurses who are highly motivated to work is 73.1%. In particular, nurses feel proud and inspired to work 84.9%; Nursing with dedication and dedication at work is 83.8%; Health factors make the motivation working at the lowest level (53.8%); The ratio of the now compliance and working on time is 69.9%. There is a relationship between gender, age, monthly income, management's attention, management and stability, job safety recorded with achievements and work motivation of nurses (p< 0.05).


Conclusion: The work motivation of nurses taking care of COVID-19 patients at Duc Giang General Hospital is quite high. Hospitals need to take measures to maintain and promote the dynamics of the nurses based on the research results, thereby contributing to improving the quality of the hospital.
